 Santa appearances are a beloved tradition. There's nothing quite like the magic, awe, and wonder that fills a child's heart and mind during an "in-person" visit with Santa. When Santa arrives, make sure to have your cameras ready to capture the enchanting interactions between the children and Santa himself. Children of all ages are thrilled to see and talk to Santa, and it's an opportunity to pass down holiday traditions and create cherished Christmas memories while spreading the love, joy, and spirit of the season. 

Contact Mile High Santa Claus and check for availability. If your date is not available, discuss alternative dates.  Be flexible, the Christmas Season is very short and inevitably everyone wants the same "prime time" day, date and time.  Mr-SantaClaus uses a written Santa Visit Agreement which spells out in detail all the T's & C's, and retainer payment required to reserve Santa's appearance for your event. Once the retainer is paid your event is locked in on Santa's schedule.

 A typical Santa visit may include the following components depending on the interaction with the children and the families in attendance. Santa’s entrance usually starts the excitement. Santa greets everyone in attendance, if possible. It is important for all adults to participate in the visit, interact with Santa and the children and even sing along with short little Christmas songs. Everyone enjoys listening to, and asking questions of Santa, while Santa shares stories about the North Pole, Elves, Reindeer and more. Santa is always willing to answer questions, and even read aloud from a favorite holiday book (depending on the children’s attention span). Santa believes it is important to take time for family photos with Santa, not just Santa photos with the children. These photos create wonderful family memories that will last for years to come, long after the party is over and the children have grown. 

YES! YES! YES! Please, reserve a parking spot for Santa in your drive way, in front of your house, or close to the building entrance/door that Santa will use for the event.  The host should go out to meet Santa and escort Santa into the event, and direct him to his staging area or photo setting. 

Santa is only allowed to fly Christmas Eve by FAA rules.  Santa has friends or volunteers who drive him or lend him a vehicle, so parking close is essential.

It is up to you as the host of a home party or small family visit.  However, the element of surprise for the children adds to the excitement for home parties and smaller family visits. On the other hand, if the event is a public or corporate event, Santa's personal appearance should be advertised to increase attendance.

Yes. When Santa arrives, the clock starts ticking away at the scheduled Santa visit time.  The host should go outside to meet Santa. The host can help Santa fill his Toy Bag if gifts are to be handed out to the children and/or guests.  The host can handle any last-minute details, and pay the balance due for the Santa appearance.

Communications between you and Santa are key. Cancellation is a rare occurrence, it almost never happens.  Call Santa and see what arrangements can be made to reschedule the event according to Santa's availability. There are more specific details written in the Santa Visit Agreement.
